Crossmen Alumni Association
The major mission of the Crossmen Alumni Association is the development of charitable contributions exclusively for the Crossmen World Class Drum Corps.
Our secondary mission is the social interaction of Crossmen Alumni marching members, administration, and instructional staff to support and preserve the heritage of the Crossmen.
HOW DO YOUR DONATIONS HELP THE CROSSMEN?
The Crossmen Alumni Association Scholarship Program was set up in honor of two of its own who died heroically helping others, Derrick Harvey (Philadelphia firefighter) and Joseph Kempf (volunteer EMT). In their honor, the CAA rewards six current marching members of the Crossmen World Class Drum Corps who have demonstrated financial need and an extraordinary commitment to the corps. These monies go directly into their tour fee accounts. Those scholarships are presented in June at the annual History Night.
CAA also provides one meal for the entire corps on tour and two after show snacks such as water ice, ice cream, soft-pretzels, pizza... etc...
We have contributed to the corps' trailer fund and other fundraisers. We have purchased a generator as well as other equipment the corps desperately needed. Without donations and the annual membership fees, we cannot help the corps.
